Today is my mother's birthday and since I'm far away I though it would be nice to give her a present. And some time ago she asked me for a drawing, so I decided to make her one...
But the problem is that I've been busy and to make matters worse, I had no idea what to draw. Luckily the inspiration struck me yesterday at night and I could do the pencil drawing in no time (under an hour if I'm not mistaken). The inking is another matter, and it took me much more time.
I wanted to do it in color, but I'm trying to learn a new method of coloring and the day is ending so I had to keep it in black and white.

And I just realised it does not has a background :hmm: ... I guess it does not need one.

I hope you all like it.

How cute, it's good to see your work again. She looks like Milfa from Magical Twilight, also her face seems remenicent of the 'ol Ranma 1/2 style of animation. I can see that you've honed your skills as well, I can tell by what I see here. Welome back, and thank you.

I have never seen Magical Twilight but it sounds good :D
And Ranma is sure one of my influences, even if sometimes it does not show.

I'm still getting the hand of inking, but doing the fur has teached me a couple of things, that and the hair are looking much better.

I don't know, you seem to have great skill with inking, I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.

Oh, and very sorry, Milfa if from Elven Bride, veeeeery sorry. Although, both are good, and if you plan on watching either of them they're light hentais, but they're very entertaining otherwise.

I have found methods for inking because with the traditional ways it would be unthinkable, I have very shaky hands and I manage to make myself a mess even writing with a pen... I love modern technology :love:

hentai, eh? Definetely not the kind of things I wanted to remind on this drawing, but I must admit I have learnt a lot from hentai (mostly on doujinshi). You get to see the cute girls, big expressions... and nude for references :D

Understood, I wouldn't want that kind of image to eminate from my character either, but trust me, though it reminded me of that, this is hardly in the realm of tastless perversion. I just wanted to say that so that you wouldn't have to feel weird when you look at that drawing. ^^;

It's cool, I understand what you are saying.
The funny thing is that I have a perverted mind myself, and alot of my drawings show that, but not this one.

But from what I could see, Milfa is quite a popular character, which is always nice :)

I dunno, I didn't notice anything perverse or blatently sexual about your work. Unless you count your stylized anatomy.

In anycase, if you check out the anime, it might please you. It's also very short, only a handful of episodes, like three of them.
